My daughter is to return to Harvard today and stay there until the close of exams. She has no choice in this.

I found her drinking in the kitchen by herself yesterday. I feel we should remove her from the detrimental influence.

Mr. Westin-

She's 18, she has a decision in where she goes, when she wants to go. She does have a choice.

What would that influence be?

I am her father. She will go back to school.

You let her hang around him. I thought he was acceptable until last night. What is your opinion of him?

Mr. Westin-

She's an adult, Sir. You really can't. She has to make that decision on her own.

He loves your daughter truely and very deeply. He wouldn't let her do something that could hurt herself. And I wouldn't remove him.

I will be contacting your boss about your refusal to speak to what could be a dangerous influence for my daughter. Perhaps your upcoming nuptuals are clouding your judgement.

He is absolutely not a dangerous influence.

Mallory, or our wedding, has nothing to do with this and I would appreciate it if you did not bring her up with something that has nothing to do with it.
